Possible Song 1
This is a draft of a possible song and a rough idea how we would edit it, including all the key effects, we like this song as it has religious meanings which would be good as we live in a rural area with a cornucopia of churches, and would be effective in black and white.

good start with the annotations but these obviously need more work...
ReplyDeleteone of the most obvious elements in the music is the US military style marching beats and backing vocals. lots you could do with this. the other is the gospel choir element clearly linking it to the great tradition of African American spritual music.
i'm guessing you are aware that there are 3 different videos for this track (one of his most popular), the final of which he paid for out of his own pocket. lots of media references in the lyrics as well as the obvious religious imagery.
my key question remains - how do you plan to link this to rural west suffolk? looking forward to finding out!
